We’re excited to show off our Homeschool Horizons Logo… read below to find out what inspired us!
There are so many elements to this logo but I’d like to share our inspiration with you.
- We live on the Canadian SHIELD – and so this is a shield.
- We are surrounded by the three oceans, and so we represented water.
- We are proud that our country has such a rich Native heritage and so we included an inukshuk.
- We are awed at the great forests our land supports.
- We love the excitement and culture of our large cities.
- We are soothed by the steadiness of the prairie fields.
- and of course… we have snow. Who could forget the snow? *grin*
There is so much that makes Canada what it is - it was almost impossible to put it all in. But in the end the main focus of our logo is the Home. Respect for the home as the center of what makes Canada great… and that each home should stand proud for being part of such a great nation.
